Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Management Trainee Exam 2019 - Guidance and Resources

Welcome to the general guideline for Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) examination 2019 for the intake of management trainees.
As you already know, CBSL management trainee exam is a very competitive exam in terms of No of applicants and no of intakes available in CBSL. Normally CBSL calls for applications for the post of management trainee every two years of time.

When it comes to the Recruitment process of the post of Management trainee at CBSL, there are following steps normally.

• Competitive Written Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka
• Interview 01
• Interview 02 ( Depends on the Year and No of applicants )

Once you got selected after successfully getting through the above steps you will be recruited as a “Management Trainee” and a training of one year need to be completed.

An all-inclusive allowance of Rs. 75,000/- per month will be paid during the training period.

The Management Trainees who successfully complete the training period will be considered to be absorbed to the Staff Class Grade I of the Bank as Probationary Staff officers.

Such officers will be considered for confirmation in the permanent cadre of the Bank from the date of absorption to the Staff Class Grade I subject to successful completion of a probation period of one year.

What will be the benefits after getting confirmed as Staff Class Grade I?

You will receive an attractive salary, special payment equals to two months gross salary per annum, Pension, Provident Fund & Employees’ Trust Fund benefi­ts, medical bene­fits, staff loan facilities and training opportunities.

So it is worthwhile you give considerable effort to pass the exam due to the reason that it’s highly competitive with the no of candidates applying.

2. Analytical Writing
3. General Knowledge
